Julie Zelman
got her start in real estate when, as a celebrity personal assistant, one of her job requirements was finding her boss an apartment. Unfortunately for her boss, Julie discovered her true passion and soon after, entered the real estate world. After finding great success as a sales agent at Halstead Properties where she was both a member of the Producer's Council and Platinum Circle (awarded to the top 20% producers), she went on to work directly for the real estate developers, The Word Wide Group.  Julie worked on-site at both the luxury high-rise condominiums, The Milan (300 East 55th Street), and 255 East 74th Street, where she started in the pre-construction phase, selling from floor plans. Soon after, Julie used her skills and contacts to become an independent real estate broker, followed by co-founding Rothschild Realty Associates, LLC., a boutique real estate brokerage firm, specializing in the sale of high-end residential coops and condos.

Julie believes her success stems from her positive, optimistic attitude and approachable personality, coupled with extreme professionalism and genuine passion for real estate.

"Success in this business stems from referrals", Julie says.  "My clients appreciate my honesty, integrity and patience. I give my clients my opinions based on my knowledge and experience but leave it there.... I don't push too hard and they all thank me for that by referring family, friends and colleagues. Moving can be a stressful time so a sense of humor doesn't hurt either!"

Julie lives in a coop she owns on the Upper East Side.  In her spare time she practices yoga, takes improv classes, plays poker and spends time in Westport, Ct.  During her time as an independent broker, Julie volunteered at Sloan Kettering Pediatrics, and still actively supports charities focused on the prevention and cure of all types of cancer.  She holds a BA from The University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, MI.
